The swift and versatile Corsair 31 and Corsair 31R far-ranging sport cruisers are capable of race-winning speeds exceeding 20 knots. Available in an aft cockpit or aft cabin, the Corsair 31 accommodates up to five in comfort with standing headroom, galley and enclosed head, yet is easily handled by a couple, or even single-handed. Floats fold quickly and easily to an 8' 2" beam for convenient docking in standard marina slips or trailering to an unlimited variety of cruising grounds or racing venues. The "R" version, also available in two models, places less emphasis on interior cruising amenities to save weight and boost performance. Bob Gleason, Ira Heller and crew have won the 31 Nationals each year since 1998 except one. By sea or land, Corsair 31s get there faster.

Corsair 31 Center-cockpit Model

The Corsair 31 Center-cockpit Model has a private sleeping area in the stern. This has also proved to be an ideal and safe place for small children to play. The main cabin has two settees and a galley and there is a cozy-double V-berth forward.

Corsair 31 Ultimate Cruiser

The Corsair 31Ultimate Cruiser is the same layout as the center-cockpit model aft of the daggerboard trunk. However, the forepeak area acommodates the head, shower, wet/dry storage and hanging locker.

The Corsair 31 Aft-cockpit Model has an open and longer cockpit in place of the aft cabin. The interior is the same as the center cockpit boat.

Corsair 31 High Performance Model

The Corsair 31R Performance Model is intended for the experienced sailor who wants the ultimate performance boat, but one that still retains a roomy interior along with quick and easy set up. In addition to its simplified interior, this model sports a modern carbon fiber rotating mast for top sailing efficiency. The Corsair 31R is potentially one of the fastest trailerable yachts in the world, with a top speed of over 25 knots.
