Select a Yard

The Multihull Source continually researches the capabilities of boat yards around the world. We look for experience with multihulls, composite materials, lightweight construction methods, and cost. We review all options, including input from the designer. The contract with the yard specifies details of timeliness, quality assurance, and weight/performance guarantees. The issue of resale based on a yard’s reputation is discussed, and a chain of material procurement is established, based on the detailed specification sheet provided by the builder.
