28ft Alerion Express Hull #366 of the series - itching to go sailing!

This elegant daysailer / weekender, launched in 2007, never fails to turn heads wherever she is seen on the water. Produced by TPI Composites (Tillotson-Pearson) in Warren, RI utilizing the SCRIMP system of resin infusion by vacuum, 470 boats were built in the series. The Carl Schumacher design delivers outstanding performance under sail, and is specifically designed to be easily single-handed with the self-tacking Hoyt Jib Boom and sail controls within reach of the helm.

A modern underbody with a fin keel and spade rudder provide exceptional maneuverability and stability, with the Hoyt Jib Boom and generous sail plan bringing off wind speed, and a 14-hp Yanmar Diesel Sail Drive adding reliable power. This beautifully balanced boat with its large, comfortable cockpit sets the standard for the ideal daysailer or overnight cruiser.

CABIN

The Alerion 28 can sleep 1-2 adults in the forward v-berth. There are cushioned settees (removable) in the main cabin both port and starboard in forest green.

The boat is equipped with a sink and manual fresh water system, cooler and lots of underbunk and cabinet cuddies.

A Raritan marine head w/holding tank is located to port forward of the mast and under the settee, in lieu of a standard Porta-Potti.
